About Ashlee

HI, I’M ASHLEE POGUE

Bash Maker Lab was born from a lifelong obsession with learning—especially learning how things are made. Fifteen years ago, I worked in a maker lab in Seattle, where I fell in love with the way creativity, community and the access to real tools could spark confidence and curiosity in makers. That experience, paired with my Fine Arts degree, shaped the way I approach both art and education: hands-on, process-driven, and joyful.

As a parent, I was always looking for classes that went beyond simple crafts—classes that taught real techniques, explored different mediums, and encouraged experimentation. When I couldn’t find what I was looking for, I decided to build it myself.

Bash Maker Lab is a space where kids get to think like artists and inventors—where they explore, experiment, and make things that matter. It’s creative education, reimagined.
